Tricky conditions at Ferrymead today tested skippers competing in the Auld Mug Trophy regatta with big gusts, wind direction changes and numerous tangle ups which kept Nick busy in the dinghy.
Race Officer Polly, assisted by Jim, Vern and Ashley managed to complete 8 heats giving competitors 2 discards
Congratulations to Ron Campbell who handled the conditions well to take the trophy for 2023.
Bad luck prize for the day went to Tom Arthur who had both cJ146 and cJ 150, on loan to Anzam, retire with power problems.
