Hi All
just because were all stuck at home and most likely inside, doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do with your boat and its equipment.
Your batteries are what make everything tick and they need a little bit of TLC while they’re sitting waiting for the next outing.
Some can be and others should be correctly discharged and/or put in storage mode.
The two attached papers are for Lipo and Lifepo, have a read, note these papers are quite specific to a particular manufacturer, but they still convey pretty common and basic info.
Please check on your battery requirements and instructions.
Please consult the operating manual you got with your charger.
Storage is important as well, make sure they are secured somewhere that’s safe.
Here is a website that may be of interest you, some light reading…….. over several days ……… or much more.https://batteryuniversity.com/learn/
